Kurt Carlson is the President and co-founder of Kore Innovations Inc. He has had a career of leadership in software design and project management, and he provides the vision for Kore Innovations technology and business development.

Mr Carlson received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where his experience at the Robotics Institute launched his 23 year career in software. After graduating, he spent 8 years in the Artificial Intelligence field building expert systems for customers such as Ford, Caterpillar, Emerson Electric, and Digital Equipment Corp. The range of these systems included production planning, engineering design, business process modeling and simulation, and logistics management. On these projects Mr. Carlson distinguished himself with innovative work for graphical user interfaces and system architecture.

In the years prior to Kore Innovations, Mr. Carlson held several positions as a manager and Chief Architect to develop enterprise systems. He played a key role in the development of a world-wide tariff retrieval system. It featured a custom search engine that delivered stunning performance for complex queries. For another company, he provided key insight and analysis for restructuring an invoice presentation and payment system in use by Xerox and Proctor & Gamble.

In the diverse range of projects and companies Mr. Carlson has been involved with, he has not only provided unique contribution, he has strived to learn from those around him, and the successes and failures of software development efforts and business ventures. Mr. Carlson's passion in leading Kore Innovations stems from this experience. His goal is to help Kore and its customers avoid the pitfalls and be truly successful and productive with their software systems and business ventures.
